The origin of Relationship Hunting
Outdoor Journey began several years ago around a Whitetail Deer campfire when Steve Rotramel, Dave McGill and Dan Field met for the first time. None of them realized that this was the beginning of their Outdoor Journey.
As their hunting relationships grew they began to realize the opportunities a hunting trip would offer for encouraging their friendship and sharing the good news of Jesus with others.
As fathers and more importantly as Christian fathers they began to reflect on how this could be impacting their relationships with their own sons and daughters that were just starting to begin to hunt. The mistakes they make and the lessons they learned are shared on Outdoor Journey in the form of fast paced Whitetail and Wild Turkey hunts featuring several youth as they harvest their first wild game. Poignant testimonies carry the viewer through some very unusual occurrences you will have to see to believe including:
